Probo uses three cookies, all to keep you signed in safely. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
No advertising or analytics cookies
Probo has no advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and no other company sets cookies through Probo. Probo's fonts are served from Probo itself.
What Probo keeps in your browser
Probo also keeps some things in your browser's own storage (local storage and IndexedDB). Unlike cookies, this isn't sent to Probo with each request; it stays on your device to make Probo quicker and to keep your work safe.

| Your preferences | Light or dark look, layouts and views you chose, zoom, read-aloud settings, and which news stories you have already seen. |
| Work in progress | Unsent message drafts and unsaved note changes, so nothing is lost if the connection drops, plus the Chef cooking timer. |
| Signatures for forms | The signature and initials you save for filling in forms, kept on that device only. |
| Read-aloud voice | The voice files for reading aloud, if you download them, so they aren't downloaded again. |
| The sign-up age check | If this browser was turned away at sign-up for being under 18, that answer is kept for 30 days. |
Your control
Signing out removes the sign-in cookie. You can also delete cookies and site data for probo.my in your browser's settings at any time; you will then need to sign in again, and anything kept only in the browser, such as unsent drafts and saved form signatures, will be gone.

The Privacy Policy explains everything Probo collects and how to see, correct or delete it. If Probo ever adds a cookie that isn't strictly necessary, this page will say so first, and Probo will ask before setting it.
